Our Zouak design in Lemon is a gorgeous goemetric style print inspired by the beautiful painted ceilings of the Bahia Palace in Morocco. Our print pays homage to the craftmanship and skill of zouak, the name given to the traditional art of decorative wood painting. The compositions would emphasise symmetry and repetition giving a sense of depth and grandure. Coloured in fresh vibrant zesty yellow reflecting the glowing hue of preserved lemons used traditionally in Moroccan cuisine and the yellow accents of the intricate zellige tiles.
